These are weekly sessions which run on consecutive Saturdays from 14th March – 4th April from 10am-12:30pm.
The workshops are an opportunity for bereaved children aged 5 -16 to meet and express themselves through creative activity and play.
The children will be placed in age appropriate groups and take part in a new and interesting art activity each week, exploring their idea of loss and celebrating life. Each session is a chance to interact with other children who have experienced bereavement, learn new skills and be supported by trained volunteers. We also run informal parent/carer sessions alongside to support the adults.
In the run-up to the workshops, we are hosting an Information Day on 29th February from 10am–12pm in the Starlight Lounge at the Hospice. This is an informal drop-in session where those interested in March’s Mindcraft sessions can meet us, ask questions and sign up, or, be signposted to further information and support. You do not need to attend this session to attend the workshops.
If you are interested in Mindcraft, or would like more information about the sessions or the information morning, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us at: firstname.lastname@example.org,or by telephone on: 01923 330 332.
