Men’s Bereavement Group to Launch

Milo Brandon, one of our volunteer counsellors, will be running a Men’s Bereavement Support
Group alongside, Louis Breese, Peace Hospice Care’s Community Engagement Co-ordinator, starting in October this year.

The group is open to men 18+ who have experienced the loss of a loved one at any time in their lives with the aim being to support, explore and share experiences of loss with others who have been through similar. We know that men are less likely to seek bereavement and counselling support than women, and often feel more comfortable in an environment which is “man-friendly”.

If you know someone whom you think would benefit or would be interested in joining this group, please contact Louis Breese: 01923 330 330.

The group will run for six weeks on Monday evenings, 6pm-7.30pm, starting on 17th October at the Hospice.
