We need champions

This year, 2021, marks the 30th anniversary of Peace Hospice Care.  Although we are facing challenging times, we want to use this year to celebrate our achievements and, also, to look forward to the next 30 years.

Reaching out to people in our community, to let them know about what we do and why it matters, has never been more important.  The more people who know about what we do, the more people we can help.

Can you support us in spreading the word by being a 30th anniversary year champion for our charity?   This is a voluntary role and you don’t need any specific skills, past experience or a connection with the Hospice to take this on, just enthusiasm to help us spread the word about what we do.  A member of the Fundraising team will support you along the way, be in constant contact and provide help and advice.

As a 30th anniversary champion you can help us by:

  • Sharing our news and talking about our work and its impact
  • Displaying our ‘In support of logo’, if you are able, on your website, email signature and materials
  • Providing quotes and birthday wishes (photo, written quote etc.) so we can share on social media and raise awareness
  • Putting us in touch with individuals and organisations who you think would be interested in supporting and/or collaborating with us.  In particular, we want to engage with more businesses in our local community as well as special interest and faith groups.

As a 30th anniversary champion we will keep you informed about events and activities and invite you attend when we are able to host these events again.

If you are interested in supporting us as 30th anniversary champion, please email: and a member of the Fundraising team will get in contact to discuss the role in more detail.

Thank you for considering to support us as a champion.
