Volunteering Coordinator

Peace Hospice Care is recruiting a proactive Volunteer Coordinator to work in our HR and Volunteering department on a part-time (0.5) permanent contract.

Our Volunteering department supports the invaluable work of the Hospice by recruiting and training in excess of 450 volunteers, to undertake a diverse range of roles that provide invaluable support to patients and their families.

This role provides support to the Volunteering Manager in coordinating the functions of our volunteering department, including the recruitment, training, and coordination of Volunteers.

This role is integral to developing and maintaining excellent service delivery so the successful applicant will:
• Have a strong administrative background, organisation skills and ability to prioritise
• Be an excellent communicator, both written and orally
• Be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
• Have experience of working with data and databases
• Work well as part of a cohesive team towards common goals – we support each other and the wider Hospice.
