Patient Services Administrator

Peace Hospice Care is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic part-time administrator to join our dedicated Patient Services Team. This role is worked over 5 days to include Saturdays and Sundays, to support our 3 core Patient Service Departments.

What are the Main Duties of the Role?

The successful candidate will provide strong support to the Patient Services team and day-to-day running of the Patient Services Hub, dealing sensitively with professionals and patients/clients by taking telephone calls, booking patient/clinic appointments via phone or letter, administering Systm One (clinical database) and other Patient Service-specific administration duties.

What skills and experience are needed?

The Patient Services Administrator role is integral to maintaining and developing excellent service delivery to our patients/clients and so the successful candidate will:

  • Have good communication skills both oral and written and the ability to engage effectively and sensitively with patients, their families/carers, professionals and colleagues
  • Have an excellent working knowledge of MS office packages
  • Be organised and efficient and able to plan workload effectively
  • Be experience in using databases, ideally including a working knowledge of Systm0ne

Hours : Full time post 37.5 hours per week. Part time hours may be considered. Saturday/Sunday working as part of the weekend admin cover.
