Training Manager – Fixed Term Contract

We are recruiting a Training Manager to drive the delivery of this commitment through developing relevant and engaging Learning & Development initiatives.  

This is a Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2021 but it will be reviewed regularly and may be extended in consultation with the post holder or ended. 

We are looking for an L&D professional with a keen understanding of, and enthusiasm for, learning and development. Your contribution will be key in the smooth running of the L&D function and you will lead the development of a culture of learning and continuous improvement throughout the Hospice. The role will have a particular focus on assessing non-clinical training needs and crafting relevant learning interventions. Working in partnership with managers across the Hospice, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your skills, experience and professionalism and contribute to our strategic objectives.

This exciting role requires:

  • CIPD Certificate Level 5 in Learning and Development and experience
  • Experience of delivery statutory and mandatory training topics
  • Ability to create education and training programmes to meet individual learning styles and engage learners
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate relationships all levels of internal and external customers
