Patient Services Administrator Team Lead

Peace Hospice Care is recruiting an enthusiastic and proactive part-time Patient Services Administrators’ Team Leader working 22.5 hours per week. Working within the Patient Services Team, the successful candidate will directly support the admin requirements of the Senior Clinical Team and the Director of Patient Services, while providing effective line management for the Patient Services Administrators.

To support the day-to-day running of the Patient Services, the applicant will be responsible for the:
• Admin management of the central bank staffing system
• Contracts with staffing agencies
• Co-ordination of senior meetings
• Minute-taking and distribution.

To succeed in the role, you will need to…
Have excellent organisational skills – to ensure efficient office systems and processes are in place
Be a good communicator – to build effective, working relationships
Be an experienced manager – to lead a team of service administrators to provide a quality service to our clients, staff team and outside agencies.

Peace Hospice Care (PHC) has been supporting people with life-limiting illnesses, and their families, from across the community in excess of 30 years. Awarded ‘Outstanding’ for being caring by the Care Quality Commission in 2016, and ‘Good’ overall, we are an award-winning charity dedicated to supporting and empowering patients and their families.

Based in Watford, within a 5-minute walking distance of Watford High Street and Intu Shopping Centre, we cover 36 GP practices which serve a population of 320,000.
