Patient Services Administrator

Peace Hospice Care is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic full-time administrator to join our dedicated Patient Services Team.  This role will include working Saturdays and Sundays as part of a rota, supporting our 3 core Patient Service Departments and directly impact the invaluable work of the Hospice.

The successful candidate will provide strong support to the Patient Services team and day-to-day running of the Patient Services Hub, dealing sensitively with professionals and patients/clients by taking telephone calls, booking patient/clinic appointments via phone or letter, administering SystmOne (clinical database) and other Patient Service-specific administration duties.

The Patient Services Administrator role is integral to maintaining and developing excellent service delivery to our patients/clients and so the successful candidate will:

Have good communication skills both oral and written and the ability to engage effectively and sensitively with patients, their families/carers, professionals and colleagues

Have an excellent working knowledge of MS office packages

Be organised and efficient and able to plan workload effectively

Be experienced in using databases, ideally including a working knowledge of Systm0ne

Salary: £19,301 - £21,956 Full Time (Band B)

Hours: Full-Time – 37.5 hours per week to include 6 hours on Saturdays and Sundays (as part of a rota)
