Patient Services Administrator

Peace Hospice Care is looking for enthusiastic and dynamic administrators to join our dedicated Patient Services Team. This role will work flexibly Monday – Sunday, supporting our 3 core Patient Service Departments and directly impact the invaluable work of the Hospice.

Part-Time & Full-Time roles available.
30hours per week worked over 4 days to include 6 hours on some Saturdays and Sundays as part of a rota (0.6 Full Time Equivalent) and also 37.5 hours a week worked over 5 days to include 6 hours on some Saturdays and Sundays as part of a rota

The successful candidate will provide strong support to the Patient Services team and day-to-day running of the Patient Services Hub, dealing sensitively with professionals and patients/clients by taking telephone calls, booking patient/clinic appointments via phone or letter, administering Systm One (clinical database) and other Patient Service-specific administration duties.

The Patient Services Administrator role is integral to maintaining and developing excellent service delivery to our patients/clients and so the successful candidate will:
• Have good communication skills both oral and written and the ability to engage effectively and sensitively with patients, their families/carers, professionals and colleagues
• Have an excellent working knowledge of MS office packages
• Be organised and efficient and able to plan workload effectively
• Be experience in using databases, ideally including a working knowledge of Systm0ne
