Inpatient Unit Team Lead

We have an exciting opportunity for a an enthusiastic, experienced and compassionate qualified nurse to join our Specialist Palliative Care Inpatient Unit (IPU)at Peace Hospice Care as our Team lead with a salary range on offer of £35,652 to £41,297 per annum (depending on experience).

Celebrating our 30th Anniversary, Peace Hospice Care has a 12-bed inpatient unit offering a home from home environment for family to visit. The unit provides an excellent environment in which to develop all aspects of Specialist Palliative and End of Life Care nursing expertise and continuing educational opportunities.

Peace Hospice Care is based in central Watford with good transport links by train and road, accessible via Watford Junction, Metropolitan line tube and M1 and M25 Motorways.

Job Description

As IPU Team Lead you will be responsible for the leadership and overall management of the unit, providing the highest standards of care and services.

The successful candidate will require excellent interpersonal and communication skills and will have the opportunity to contribute to the wider palliative and end of life care agenda, ensuring a responsive and effective service for our patients.
