Individual Giving Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated fundraising individual who wants to make a difference, and help shape the future of an award-winning charity that puts the care and wellbeing of patients and families at its heart.

• You will lead on the development, implementation and delivery of individual giving strategy, operational plans and KPIs
• You will create and execute our annual calendar of Direct Marketing campaigns and Digital appeals and initiatives to achieve individual giving income targets and engage with the supporter community around us
• You will be responsible for the management of financial processing across all fundraising lines, including Gift Aid, and the stewardship of individual giving donors
• Being a strong leader, you will manage the Database Co-ordinator and a team of 12 individual giving FR volunteers in line with PHC’s policies and procedures

• … be a clear strategic thinker, able to develop and implement clear operational plans to raise income through income generation initiatives and campaigns

• … have strong financial management and budgeting skills, to ensure income and expenditure budgets are accurately set and performance against them is managed

• … be an exceptional written communicator, with the ability to liaise and build rapport with supporters; providing excellent stewardship and care

• … be great at engaging with and building relationships with supporters, volunteers, clinical staff and other hospice teams

• … be highly creative and innovative, to ensure we continuously develop new ways to fundraise with our supporters and market all our individual giving appeals and initiatives effectively, particularly via digital channels

• … be a true team player – the fundraising environment is always fast
