Healthcare Assistant – Inpatient Unit

We have opportunities for enthusiastic, experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join our friendly Specialist Palliative Care Inpatient Unit team at Peace Hospice Care in Watford. The Hospice has a short stay 12-bed inpatient unit offering a home from home environment for family to visit.

Previous palliative and end of life care experience is desirable but not essential but you will need experience in a health or social care bed-based setting.

Full and part time hours available across a 24 hour period.

The successful candidates will work as part of our dedicated team providing high standards of care for our patients and those people who are important to them.

You require excellent interpersonal and communication skills ensuring the service we provide is responsive and effective service for our patients.
