Head of Business Development and Performance

If you’ve answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions then this could be the role for you. We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic and determined individual to take on this exciting new role of Head of Business Development and Performance.

• You will lead a team working to maximise income from statutory sources as well as identify new streams of statutory funding income to support one of our key Charity Strategic ambitions to;
“Reach more people and their families in our community with life limiting illnesses”
• To do this we need to increase our opportunities for income generation and business growth in particular with our Health and Social care commissioners and other Health & Charitable trusts funds, which will help us to development and expand upon our Patient Services.
• Supporting the CEO and the Executive team to scope and develop external partnerships and collaborative opportunities you will work towards increasing income and assessing potential service developments or efficiencies.
• You will also be working with other service leads to maintain strong working relationships with multiple partners including statutory NHS and Social Care.

• Effective communication and presentation skills
• A proven track record leading on successful bids, tenders and coordination of trust fund applications and business cases in line with agreed priorities.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines to short time scales whilst maintaining detailed analytical and compliance assurance work is essential.
• Excellent systems knowledge, data collation, extraction and analytical skills,
• Along with an energy and passion to monitor and demonstrate our performance and service outcomes and social impact.
