Head of Business Development and Performance

If you’ve answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions then this could be the role for you. We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic and determined individual to take on this exciting new role of Head of Business Development and Performance.

In this role,
• You will lead a team working to maximise income from statutory sources as well as identify new streams of statutory funding income to support one of our key Charity Strategic ambitions to;
“Reach more people and their families in our community with life limiting illnesses”
To do this we need to increase our opportunities for income generation and business growth in particular with our Health and Social care commissioners and other Health & Charitable trusts funds, which will help us to development and expand upon our Patient Services.

• Supporting the CEO and the Executive team to scope and develop external partnerships and collaborative opportunities you will work towards increasing income and assessing potential service developments or efficiencies.

• You will also be working with the PHC Executive team and senior managers strengthening and building upon our performance monitoring dashboard reporting so we are able to demonstrate our impact, effectiveness and evidence that we have met our agreed strategic ambitions and agreed organisational key performance indicators.

• A proven track record leading on successful bids, tenders and coordination of trust fund applications and business cases in line with agreed priorities.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines to short time scales whilst maintaining detailed analytical and compliance assurance work is essential.
• Excellent systems knowledge, data collation, extraction and analytical skills,
• Along with an energy and passion to monitor and demonstrate our performance and service outcomes and social impact.
