Governance Administrator

 

Peace Hospice Care is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic part-time administrator to join our dedicated Governance Team which includes the Executive Board Support Manager and Quality and Audit team.  This role will work flexibly across 3 days of the week directly impacting the invaluable work of the Hospice.

 

The successful candidate will provide high quality support to the Executive Board Support Manager and Quality and Audit Team, dealing appropriately and sensitively with internal and external customers and stakeholders, including professionals, visitors, adhering to hospice policies on confidentiality at all times. They will provide administrative/secretarial support to the department as required, booking appointments and meetings, preparing letters/flyers/posters, processing documentation, filing and archiving records to the required standard by the set deadline as well as management of data within systems and databases to process and record data and maintain paper documentation and systems as appropriate.

The Governance Administrator role is integral to maintaining and developing excellent service delivery and so the successful candidate will:

  • Have good communication skills both oral and written and the ability to engage effectively and sensitively with professionals, colleagues and all visitors to the hospice
  • Have an excellent working knowledge of MS office packages
  • Be organised and efficient and able to plan workload effectively
  • Be experienced in using databases
