Director of Marketing & Engagement

We support people at the end of their life but the vast majority of our work is about empowering patients to achieve the best quality of life possible. We do that with our work in the community but, also, at the Hospice itself. We provide free care for those with life-limiting illnesses in Herts.

As a pivotal member of the Executive Team you will play a key role in shaping the future of Peace Hospice Care. Dynamic and continually seeking improvement, you will be passionate about the provision of high-quality care and committed to our values with an ability to inspire, motivate and empower those around you.

As Director of Marketing and Engagement, you will have overall responsibility for Peace Hospice Care’s Marketing and Engagement Strategy. Leading and directing on our Community Engagement priorities and implementing PHC’s marketing & digital strategy in line with the wider strategy, ensuring clear implementation with KPIs and agreed outcomes are achieved.

You will lead, direct and manage the work of the Marketing and Engagement team, to enhance our presence in the local community with clear branding, promotion and marketing strategies in place.

You will also work across the Hospice teams and functions to ensure that we stay ahead of current marketing landscape in palliative, charity, health & social care and incorporate new innovations into marketing plans.

We are seeking an experienced Marketing and Engagement leader with an outstanding track record in leading and driving transformational change, including user involvement strategy & ensuring co-production of services.
