Digital Communications and Marketing Manager

If you’ve answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions then this could be the role for you.  We are looking for an enthusiastic, determined and organised individual to take on this new role of Digital Communications and Marketing Manager.

You will work as part of a committed Communications and Marketing team, helping to drive the implementation of our digital marketing strategy.  We have been working with a digital agency to develop that strategy and we are now looking for the right person to push that work ahead, creating a range of content for social media channels, from donation thank you, notice of fundraising events and charity shop ‘bargain of the week’ to content that highlights our patient services, patient and staff stories and outreach into the community as well our involvement in national health and awareness campaigns.

You will have huge scope to bring your creative thinking and ideas to an award-winning local charity that is keen to build on the digital marketing opportunities available.  As well as creating content for our website and social media channels, you will monitor and evaluate our digital marketing activities so we can continually learn and improve, helping us to raise our awareness, extend our reach to key audiences and better support user journeys.

Creative with excellent written and verbal skills you will also have:

  • Significant relevant experience of working in digital marketing, gained either in-house or agency
  • Experienced in identifying target audiences and devising appropriate digital marketing campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
  • Experience of writing and editing content for digital marketing, including social media posts
  • Experience in managing campaign budgets
  • Diplomacy and sensitivity in communicating with people at all levels (both internally and externally)
