Deputy Shop Manager-Part-time (Garston, Hertfordshire)

We are currently recruiting for reliable, enthusiastic Deputy Retail Managers to work in our charity shops. You will be involved in all aspects of the successful running and profitability of our thriving charity shop. Previous charity retail/management experience would be an advantage.

The ability to work flexibly, including working some Saturdays, is essential as the successful applicant will be required to cover in the Shop Manager’s absence.

The Deputy Manager will be based in one shop, although may support across other shops if operational need arises.

• To manage all day-to-day charity shop activities to ensure the smooth and successful running of the shop in line with Key Performance Indicators and strategy set by ARM
• To train and motivate volunteers and, with the ARM, ensure sufficient staff for the shop to operate over 6 days
• To carry out all day-to-day administrative functions in the shop, liaising with the ARM and the Head of Retail where necessary
