Peace Hospice Care would love to hear from you as we are looking to recruit to a new role as a Board Secretary, on a part-time basis working 22.5 hours pw, to join our team.

You will be dealing with a range of administrative duties such as but not limited to drafting agenda minutes, maintaining attendance records, offering procedural advice and guidance during and between meetings and taking any follow up action as required or as directed by the Board and Committees.

This role will enable you to gain unique insights into how the Hospice runs at a very high strategic level, and how governance drives improvement. You will be instrumental in making a difference, supporting strong governance and supporting a local charity make a real difference.

The Board Secretary will provide high quality administrative support to the Board of Trustees and its committees, to ensure the effective and efficient running of the Board and its principal committees, and to act as secretary to those committees.

Efficiency, an eye for detail, and pro activeness, are pre-requisites of this position as well as great interpersonal skills are imperative in order to succeed and progress within this dynamic charity.
