Who we are

Wrapping arms around you

Providing care, compassion and support

We care for adults diagnosed with life-limiting illnesses such as, but not limited to: Cancer, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and Motor Neurone Disease.

Have you been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness, or know someone who has? Then, we can help. All of our services are free.

We’ve provided care to support the community across South West Hertfordshire, and the wider area, for more than 25 years. Many people think that hospice care is all about death and dying. We do provide care in the last days of life but the majority of our work focuses on helping you manage your illness and empowering you to make decisions that will enable you to achieve the best quality of life possible.

We wrap our arms around you to provide care, support and compassion - for you,
your family and your carers. We walk alongside you on your journey – helping with information, advice and trying our best to ensure you receive care in the setting of
your choice.

We need £5 million a year to deliver our free services and less than 20p in every £1 of income we receive comes from the NHS. Our services are free but that is only possible because of the tremendous support we receive from individuals, organisations, other charities and businesses.

Empowering you to make decisions that will enable you to achieve the best quality of life possible.

Empowering you and your loved ones
