Our Borehamwood shop re-opened on Thursday 16th May after refurbishment

Local authors Lorraine Reed and Jason Cook officially re-opened our Borehamwood charity shop in Borehamwood today (Thursday 16th May at 11am) after it had been closed for a number of weeks as part of our refurbishment programme. Customers streamed in the doors and the shop took £500 in the first hour after re-opening.

The shop was closed so that essential maintenance work could be carried out. During that time, the shop was also updated and decorated with a new look and feel to create a lighter, brighter and more welcoming environment.

Sarah O'Halloran, Director of Income Generation at Peace Hospice Care, said: "It's great to see our Borehamwood shop open again and to welcome our local supporters back through the doors. Our thanks to Lorraine Reed and Jason Cook for cutting the ribbon. Thanks too to all our supporters who donate to, and buy from, our shops their support makes a huge difference and enables us to raise vital funds we need for our services.

We have twelve charity shops. For more information about any of our shops please see www.peacehospicecare.org.uk/shops.
