Yoga class launched on Sunday 22nd May at the Starlight Centre in Peace Hospice Care.
The launch class in the Hospice's Starlight Room was attended by 5 people and was well received. Arjie (yoga teacher) remarked: "Everyone loved the room. There was birdsong and a lovely atmosphere of peace; it is a perfect venue for doing yoga”
Regular Sunday morning classes start on 3rdJuly 2016 at 08:00am. The sessions will include simple asanas (postures), flow yoga, breathing techniques (pranayama), simple mindfulness and meditation exercises; all the sessions end with relaxation exercises. You will be calm and relaxed all day.
Catherine, who attended the launch class, said: "I really can't think of a better way to wake up and start the day. Arjie has a very gentle manner and just says all the right things to make you relax, unwind and focus. I walked out feeling taller; all the niggling aches and pains disappeared. So relaxing and peaceful, the sunshine and the birdsong was an added bonus, it was perfect”
Classes cost £10 and proceeds go towards the Hospice. So join Arjie's class to unwind and relax whilst helping the Peace Hospice Care.
There is free parking on Sundays in Peace Hospice Care visitor car park.
