An exciting evening for footballing fans

More than 90 guests joined North London footballing legends George Graham and Frank McLintock recently for a dinner at South Herts Golf Club in Totteridge. Attendees enjoyed a three course meal with wine and a lively question and answer session touching on many aspects of the modern game.

George and Frank were happy to speak to fans and take photos - amongst them was 87 year old Arsenal supporter Manfredo Antonioni, who has been a season ticket holder for more than 50 years and may well be one of the club's oldest supporters.

Deborah Laing, Trusts and Major Gifts Officer at Peace Hospice Care, was delighted with the amount raised: "this special event has raised more than £6,000 for the Hospice and we are so grateful to the organiser, Brian Clark, for all his hard work. These are challenging times for Peace Hospice Care and this money will make such a difference."
