Mince pies, mulled wine, and Christmas carols! It's a fabulous festive combination that will be bringing a community together at the Tudor Shopping parade, Bushey Mill Lane for the annual switching on of the lights.
Watford Borough Council Chair, Kareen Hastrick will be turning on the illuminations and crowds will gather outside the Peace Hospice Care charity shop on Saturday November 28 at 3.45pm.
This outdoor occasion will be shared with local schools and community members and the local Tudor Arms pub will be providing mulled wine. A raffle will be taking place as well as a Christmas carols.
Peace Hospice Care Director of Trading, Steve Rose said, 'we
hope to see as many as people as possible supporting this community event. The Christmas lights make a difference to the
area, and we are sure the community can come along and make a difference to
Peace Hospice Care by buying raffle tickets or picking up a bargain in our
shop. This promises to be a wonderful occasion that really brings people together.'
