Hospice Care Week is on the horizon. We are inviting you to celebrate your Hospice, support our fundraising, find out about our services and enjoy our incredible history.

Every year, across the UK, Hospice Care Week, raises awareness of the success story of Hospice Care. From its beginnings in 1967 it has grown into a worldwide movement that has transformed the way we approach death and dying.

This year Hospice Care Week takes place from 5th - 11th October. We have a range of events and fundraising opportunities taking place during the week. If you can give a gift to help those who need our support, we would be really grateful.

The theme for Hospice Care Week 2015 is Connecting Care. We will be focusing on the special role hospices play in connecting individuals and families, connecting with local communities and connecting people with each other.

One in three people have been helped by hospice care and UK hospices care for approximately 200,000 people every year. Hospices also care for their families, colleagues, and friends, meeting the emotional, social and spiritual needs of millions of people annually.

Peace Hospice Care Chief Executive Officer, Declan Carroll said, 'I have become increasingly aware from the people I meet, just how important this charity is to them. Peace Hospice Care has supported so many patients and their families over is near 25 year history, always ensuring the highest quality of care both in the Hospice building itself and out in the community that we serve. We hope the community can support us in this very special week of activities.'
