A great game, three points and a post match meeting with Luther Blissett!

That was the incredible package enjoyed by the winning bidders who secured a day to remember at Watford FC.

Following a generous match day hospitality donation from M.K Ginder & Sons, supporters far and wide were given the opportunity to bid for top tickets in the WFC v Millwall match on Saturday November 1st - with the proceeds going to the Hospice.

In addition to the superb seat donations, a three course meal, complimentary drinks, a photo with a Watford player and being part of the 100 years commemorative occasion was included.  The 100 years remembrance  focussed on the former Hornet's players who served their country in the war.

Vicarage Road marked its respect with reflection, a minute's silence and a huge poppy being created to cover the entire Rookery End of the ground.  The giant poppy was paid for by the Watford players.

'The whole day was very enjoyable and we were all looked after very well. Fabulous food, a great game and more importantly 3 points for Watford,' said Darren Jones who bid for the four tickets.  The day was topped off by having the chance to meet Ikechi Anya.  We all had a great day whilst taking pleasure from the fact we were able to raise funds for Peace Hospice Care.'

For six year old Josh Lythgoe and his father Paul who secured two tickets, it was a day to treasure. Snapped with Luther Blissett, the young Hornets supporter went home more than happy!
