Julie Hall's cookbook 'Creative Cookery' has sold hundreds of copies and helped to raise more than £10,000 for Peace Hospice Care in memory of her friend and cookery partner Sue Clark.
The book, which included many of Sue's favourite recipes, proved popular with those looking for imaginative, easy-to-follow recipes and Peace Hospice Care's royal patron Princess Michael of Kent was so impressed that she gave a copy to her son, who is learning to cook.
Julie produced the book, with support from Sue's husband Brian, to thank Peace Hospice Care for the tremendous support they provided to Sue during her final illness. Brian would like to extend his thanks to everyone who donated in Sue's memory or purchased the book. The huge amount raised will make such a difference - allowing Peace Hospice Care to continue providing care and support free of charge to local people with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
