An Autumnal visit to Cassiobury Park unearthed a collection of precious memories for silver haired Christine from the Starlight Centre Inspire Group.

It was the first time Christine had been to Cassiobury in more than thirty years, and accessing the park by wheelchair gave her the perfect opportunity to reminisce.

Christine's time out amongst the trees and falling leaves, was made possible by the help of Hospice volunteer Angela and by the Health Walk group who meet regularly in the park to organise routes for walkers of all fitness levels.

'It was a wonderful afternoon, ' said Christine. 'I would recommend time in the park to everyone.  The sun was shining, we had coffee in the Cha Cha Cha café .  Thirty years ago was the last time I went to the park. I had so many lovely memories coming back to me. '

Peace Hospice Care physiotherapist Marie Jeanne Chitnis encourages patients to take part in the Cassiobury Park Walking groups to boost their health by being active and organised a series of walks over the summer with the Health Walk Group.
