The Watford Mosques & Welfare Association for the Muslim Community strengthened their long term support for Peace Hospice Care by proudly handing over a £2,000 cheque.

Their generous donation was also accompanied by an English copy of the Quran that will be available for patients and families who use the Quiet Room area at Peace Hospice Care.

Over the past few years, members and staff of the Watford Mosques & Welfare Association for the Muslim Community have been supported by the Hospice.

Peace Hospice Care Corporate Fundraising Manager, Vicky Luk who received the cheque said, 'We appreciate the support and long term relationship from the Watford Mosques & Welfare Association for the Muslim Community and their gift of the Quran.  These kind donations undoubtedly help support our patients and their families and we value this support from our immediate community.'

Specific requests relating to religion, culture and spirituality are embraced by Peace Hospice Care who recognize that during times of illness and stress spiritual care can help restore a sense of balance and peace.
