The Railway Arms in Bushey is one of many local pubs and businesses choosing to support Peace Hospice Care by keeping a collection box on their bar.

The charity is looking for more volunteers to service boxes on a regular basis and keep the money rolling in.

David Bateson, of the Railway Arms, said 'We are proud to support such a worthwhile local charity and delighted that the collection box on our bar is attracting so many donations from generous patrons.'

Peace Hospice Care volunteer Felicity, services the collection box on a regular basis 'It takes me very little time to service the boxes I am responsible for, as most only need attention every three months or so.  I know I am making a real difference and it's a nice excuse to pop into my local pubs and shops.'

If you would be interested in helping Peace Hospice Care service collection boxes in your local area, or are a business owner who would like a box for your premises, please contact Deborah on 01923 330349 or email her
