Generous golfers made a huge difference to Peace Hospice Care when they teed off at the Watford and West Herts Chamber of Commerce Golf Day.

This sporty event attracted nineteen teams to Aldenham Golf Club, including former Watford FC player Luther Blissett who proudly joined the Peace Hospice Care Team.

All competitors were eager to raise funds for the Hospice, win the trophy and win a brand new mini in the hole in one challenge.

While nobody drove home in a new car, the winning team from Bushey Blinds did scoop the silverware!

A warm weather day helped heat up competitive spirits. Graham Head from the IT Support Team gained the longest drive trophy  and Les Brown from the Wild Things Team gained the crown of 'best individual'.

After a terrific day of golf the annual event looks set to raise a fantastic £6,000 for Peace Hospice Care.

Former Watford FC footballer Luther Blissett handed the trophies to the winners.

Thanks to West Herts Chamber of Commerce for hosting the Golf Day. Thanks also go to Aldenham Golf Club, sponsors Top Golf Watford and Spire Automotive, Rob Holland from Sports & Trophies and all those who took part in the event.
