A team of fun-loving hikers made every footstep count.

Determined   hikers pulled on their walking boots and stepped out in the spring sunshine for a strenuous walk to raise funds for Peace Hospice Care.

The four strong team began their twenty mile trek at the hospice and wandered over land, field, hills, valleys, footpaths and the occasional pub garden!  Their arduous trail not only included pacing through mud, but putting their feet up for a well-deserved pint.

'It was an amazing walk,' said Helen Liversidge who was part of Team Hillisidgeson.  'We hiked through the Hertfordshire Way and Ver-Colne Valley walk and really were keen to complete the twenty mile circuit for the hospice.'

More than £1,000 has been raised for Peace Hospice Care from Team Hillisidgeson.

A challenging River Run is the next event taking place for Peace Hospice Care.  This two mile obstacle course on Saturday March 29th  is designed to push the toughest competitors to the limit.  Last minute places are available.  To register contact events team on 01923 335371.
