Students from Kings Langley Secondary School welcomed the opportunity to take part in a palliative care workshop in the classroom as part of the Personal Social Health Education (PSHE) curriculum.
The sensitive subject was facilitated by Peace Hospice Care Children Schools and Colleges Sudarshana Sharma, and Care Home Educator, Claire Nicell and offered an interactive discussion to the 6th form students.
'Students were given an insight into palliative care and its holistic approach,' said Sudarshana. 'This workshop not only complimented the PSHE curriculum but prompted a very lively discussion with the students who were keen to contribute to the workshop.'
