Pulling on their trainers, a six strong team from Hetheringtons Estate Agents set themselves a mission to turn a running challenge into cash and raise funds for Peace Hospice Care.

Pulling on their trainers, a five strong team from Hetheringtons Estate Agents set themselves a mission to turn a running challenge into cash and raise funds for Peace Hospice Care.

They were motivated by Chris Wood, senior property adviser at the Chorleywood branch  who was determined to give something back to the Hospice for caring for his father Robert.

Team Hetheringtons shaped up, and earlier this year they entered the Ricky Road Run.  The miles became fundraising smiles as the eager  runners chalked up a staggering  £1,118.86 for Peace Hospice Care.

‘I have witnessed the care and support that Peace Hospice Care has to offer, because they looked after my father  when he was diagnosed with cancer  in 2008. They cared for him to his last hour,’ said Chris.

‘They were so supportive to myself and my family through this difficult time. The work they do is fantastic and they have helped and will continue to help so many people.’

Thank you Tom Solomons, Anthony Fortgang, Chris Wood, Brian Moran, Mark Summers and Tom Kingston. Thank you team Hetheringtons.
