Job Title: Events Fundraiser
Salary: £19,800pa

Fun runs, overseas treks, challenge events – no two days are the same! Now you have the opportunity to join our amazing Fundraising team as we are looking to recruit a creative Events Fundraiser who has exceptional organisational skills.   The successful candidate will have experience of organising and providing administration for a variety of events with project management skills and attention to detail.  

In this role, you’ll be working on a fantastic range of fundraising and mass participation events which have a high profile in the local community and generate substantial income for the Hospice.  As such you’ll be target driven and show a broad range of skills in administration, marketing and project management as well as being able to provide exceptional donor stewardship.

To succeed in the role, you will need to:

…be a strong multi-tasker and great communicator – with the ability to communicate with a variety of audiences, provide exceptional donor support and ensure that our administration is as effective as it can be. In addition to this, you will need to be able to multi-task and manage several projects at one time.

…have exceptional organisational skills – and be able to manage a number of events at the same time, dealing with suppliers and delivering logistics plans to ensure that everything runs smoothly on event days.

…be creative and help deliver marketing plans – no two events are the same and every year we need new ideas for events and new ways to make our events successful. This includes having a good eye for marketing materials and artwork.

…enjoy working in a fast-paced environment as part of a close-knit team – we have an amazing calendar of fundraising events.  Delivering our fundraising activities takes real teamwork and at Peace Hospice Care, we all pull together.
