Job Title: Community Palliative Care development Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 nurse to join our Hospice at Home Team, to develop palliative care skills, knowledge and expertise. Following a comprehensive programme consisting of competencies and mentorship, we are looking to develop an existing Band 5 into a Band 6 Palliative Care Specialist Nurse. We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse with an interest in Palliative Care, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work as an autonomous practitioner within the team at Peace Hospice Care and in collaboration with other organisations.

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills. Previous community experience is not essential for this development role. Car driver is essential.
You will be working a combination of early and late shifts, covering a 7 day a week service between 9am and 9pm, within a supportive and committed team delivering outstanding care.
