Jeremy Shindler

Dr Jeremy Shindler MBBS MA FRCGP is a semi-retired general medical practitioner who has had a special interest in palliative medicine for the last thirty years.

He has been associated with Peace Hospice care as a clinician for thirteen years, then a clinical advisor and now a Trustee for the last two years. He qualified from King's College Hospital in 1982, and entered general practice in 1989 after several years work in general internal medicine.

Between 1989 and 1999 he was a partner in a practice in North Croydon and worked with St Christopher’s on a community palliative care scheme for families with AIDS. He moved to Watford in 2000 and was a partner at Coach House surgery and its successor Bridgewater surgeries until 2019.

He still undertakes 3 clinics a week there. He was a GP trainer for many years and has postgraduate qualifications in medical education with interests in the consultation process, negotiations and complexity. His other charity work includes working with Mediation Buckinghamshire.
