Bereavement Support

for Groups

Each person’s experience of bereavement and grief is unique, and while some people find that the support from family and friends is enough to help them through the weeks and months after the death of a loved one, others find it beneficial to join with others who have undergone similar experiences.  At Peace Hospice Care, we run a number of different bereavement groups throughout the year; some are drop-in informal support groups while others are time-limited therapeutic groups.   Some groups use creative therapies to help you express emotions while others are more traditional ‘talking and sharing’ groups.   Contact us on 01923 330332 to find out which groups are currently running or complete the form below.

Karen from Watford commented: “The group has helped me so much to feel in a safe place surrounded by others who understand through their own experiences the issues that I’m facing. To be able to let go of my emotions without the fear of others judging or not fully understanding the impact of the loss I’m feeling has really helped me to start trying to process losing my partner.”
