Your Virtual Starlight Walk

Even though many of our events are sadly postponed this year, we can still do something together.

Our Starlight Walk returns but, this year, we’re inviting you to take on the walk at home. Whether you’re walking in memory of a loved one or want to enjoy a walk with nature outside, you’ll be supporting your local Hospice.

With a 3 mile, 6 mile or 13 mile option there is something for everyone of all abilities.  Walk in your own time, at your own pace and we will support you every step of the way!

Don’t forget to update us when you’ve completed your walk. We will accept a photo of you finishing the walk or a screenshot from an app that tracks your distance – email us at fundraising@peacehospicecare.org.uk

Tell people why you’re taking part… Download and personalise your very own back sign and when it’s finished all you need to do is pin it to your t-shirt with a safety pin! We know our Hospice Heroes love a bit of fancy dress… why not dust off your tutus or superhero capes? A prize will be awarded to the ‘best dressed Starlight walker’.

Don’t forget to send us your photos and videos using the hashtag #StarlightWalkAtHome

Your safety and the safety of others comes first

  • You won’t have our wonderful marshals with you on your walk at home. If you do choose to walk in the evening we ask you to stay visible and not to walk late at night.
If you are walking alone we advise you to make someone aware of your route.
    Stick to well-travelled routes.
    Adhere to social distancing.
Carry your phone in case you need to make contact in an emergency.

By registering for this event you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions.

We may be apart but we’re still together.
