Michaela Silverstein is singing "Whirlwind" - A Charity Single raising funds for Peace Hospice Care
Local supporter, Michaela Silverstein, is releasing a charity single in memory of her grandma, Judith Newman.
The single "Whirlwind" is available for purchase here and all proceeds are going to Peace Hospice Care.
Michaela's grandma, Judith, passed away at the Hospice in 2015, and the song is a lovely tribute in her memory. Speaking to us about why she wanted to raise money for Peace Hospice Care, Michaela said:
"My grandma spent her last 6 weeks there and from the moment she was admitted until the day she passed away she was given the most wonderful care.
The staff not only looked after her but helped and supported us as a family.
Nothing was ever too much trouble and this is the only way I can think of repaying them for their fantastic care and kindness!"
The cover for the single is a picture of a stick lady, which has a very personal meaning to Michaela and her family. Her grandma would always sign off any cards with a drawing of herself as a little stick lady.
Please support Peace Hospice Care by buying this single, it is available to purchase.
