The hugely successful Herts & Middlesex Financial Services dinner at Sopwell House recently raised more than £10,000 for Peace Hospice Care.
This annual black tie event on March 5th 2015 which is now in its 21st year has made an astounding contribution to the Hospice raising more than £104,000 over the past two decades.
At this year's gathering, the fundraising focus was on the Hospice at Home service that supported 346 patients in 2014 and made 2000 visits in the community. Their valuable work was giving recognition and applause.
Peace Hospice Care Chief Executive Sue Plummer shared a heartfelt letter of appreciation from a family who had used Hospice at Home Service and took the opportunity to personally thank the Hertfordshire and Middlesex Financial Services Annual Dinner for their commitment to the Hospice.
'We hope you are aware that your generosity is valued and thank you for your support this evening on the work of our Hospice at Home team,' said Sue Plummer. 'This generous support will ensure that our patients and families and carers are able to benefit from the high level of care we offer and a greater choice to the very end of their life.'
